The breeze didn’t bother her much, she was used to the cold. As she heard his words, she chuckled.
“Please, I’m just killing time.”
“As long as that’s all your doing, you better not be planning something.”
Accelerator was suspicious of Awaki, it was odd that she had stuck around this long, though it was probably just the reason she said, he couldn’t help but over think things.
True, she didn’t know why Accelerator had joined GROUP but it wasn’t much of her business. Besides she did have other things to meddle with on her own.
As she heard his words a light click from her tongue was let out. However her expression wasn’t much of an annoyed nor an angry look.
“Oh please, I don’t have time for those two.”
As they continued walking, the air began to get a little colder, of course this didn’t bother Accelerator but Awaki was.. wearing considerably less clothing than himself. Of course he didn’t really care but it was just a thought that crossed his mind.
(Maybe she enjoys the cold..)
He was lost in thought for a moment but quickly snapped out of it and clicked his tongue.
“Please don’t say that means you have time for me..” He responded quietly.
Indeed, however there was still something for her. Just that she wasn’t quite sure what it was or maybe she did. But Awaki preferred to keep those reasons—Whatever they were, a secret.
“That’s true. But I have other reasons, let’s keep it like that.” She replied quickly as she crossed her arms.
It was fair enough she didn’t really want to tell him anymore, but he still felt suspicious. Though, she didn’t probably know his reasons for joining GROUP and the reason why he continued to stay there even now. No, those reasons were his own. However he wasn’t going to let this drop just yet.
“Could it be you’re sticking around for Tsuchimikado’s sake.. or maybe even Etzali’s?” He spoke with a teasing glint in his amber eyes.
She continued to follow him, somehow it was awkward for her to follow this guy, there was also an odd feeling that was about to happen but whatever, she ignored that fact.
“Oh me? I.. have my reasons.”
They continued walking, slowly. His cane tapping the ground as they went, however they have probably both become immune to the sound of this now.
Accelerator couldn’t help but feel there was more to her words than she was letting on, just what was it.. he didn’t like to go into anyone’s business but, she really didn’t have anything left for her here.. was it something else?
“Reasons? But you got what you wanted didn’t you, we don’t really have anything to do these days now that things have quietened down..” He continued.
Effort or no effort, these atmospheres were naturally just.. naturally being brought out. One could say or so.
“Oh, very well then.” As then she takes a step forward, following his steps.
It was a strange new ..experience for Accelerator. He was used to Last Order following him around, which he had become used to, but he wasn’t used to having company other than her. This situation was a fairly delicate one for himself and probably for Awaki also. He couldn’t shake off the feeling that he felt something was going to happen, well whatever, he continued walking.
“Awaki.. why are you still in GROUP?” He asked.
Fair enough, if you look it trough and compare their bond or relationship, it had improved ever since GROUP. For other people; possibly, this atmosphere isn’t one you would want to be in. But in her case it was a comfortable one.
“Aw what a shame.”
Accelerator was used to these atmospheres truth be told, he may not so much be comfortable with them with certain people, but for some reason with Awaki it was ok to him.
(Standing here isn’t doing either of us many favors..) He thought for a moment.
He could’ve simply walked off and left her, but he couldn’t bring himself to be that rude, she was obviously making some kind of effort herself to still be standing there.
“Oi, I’m going to get some canned coffee.. you can follow I suppose.” He said awkwardly yet casually.
Tsuchimikado was somehow right, they do act like a married couple whose relationship was built on bickering or taunting eachother, not in a bad way though. However she pretend not to notice that.
“Tsk tsk, you’re too hot-headed.”
No matter what their relationship was it didn’t really concern Accelerator that much, while it was true either could be irritating towards one another, it was only really lighthearted things. Of course their first meeting wasn’t exactly peaches and cream but things had improved since they both joined GROUP. Accelerator would argue against this but deep down he felt differently.
“It’s harder to keep my calm around brats like you.”
“Whatever you say.”
She didn’t really care about ‘annoying’ him, rather, teasing was a habit that she had picked up. Or whatever you would call it.
She lightly chuckles.
“Aw c’mon calm down.”
“Hmph.” He mumbled before scratching the top of his head.
He had gotten used to her teasing him by now, in fact they spent alot of time taunting eachother lightheartedly. However it was irritating when Tsuchimikado would say they acted like a married couple, Accelerator shuddered at this idea but tried to hide it.
“Don’t tell me to calm down, tsk.”
“Oh am I?”
In all honestly, Awaki was surprised he was still standing infront of her, arguing. That was rare— or odd for him. But in any case she was continuing to tease him.
“No need to get so serious, mister lolicon.” She teased while chuckling.
“Why not go ask everyone else in GROUP, I’m sure they’ll say the same.”
In actual fact though, there were alot more annoying people in Accelerator’s life, Awaki wasn’t really high on the list even though she did get on his nerves alot. It really didn’t bother him that much anymore though.
(She’s determined to try to piss me off huh.)
“Call me that one more time and I’ll break your face again.”
“Hah, Is that so.”
True enough, she wasn’t exactly the mysterious type one could say, she was different. But that didn’t matter right now.
She chuckles.
“Oh my, he’s denying it so bad.” She replies in a teasing tone.
Clicking his tongue in irritation still over the lolicon remark he decided to clench his fist and try to calm down again.
“God you’re irritating.”
Though yet, he still hadn’t left her presence and was still here talking to her, just what was with him today? He seemed to almost want to continue talking to her which for Accelerator, was very odd indeed.
“There is nothing to deny, and I certainly don’t have to prove anything to a shotacon like you.”
